According to an Sarcastic Antifat Acceptance Blogger
Anorexia: A very common condition that results in the deaths of MILLIONS of women each year. The primary cause is skinny models, and Hollywood waifs.
Bing Eating: A term that is used to describe a non existent condition.
Comment Section: A section of a blog where adherents post loud praise for the fat acceptance blog author’s post .
Dan Savage: The most evil man alive!
Diet: An extreme form of calorie restriction that occasionally results in temporary weight loss. This activity poses a high risk or causing anorexia.
Diet Industry: An evil Cabal of Jews, Trilaterialists, and late night infomercial advertisers who are attempting to dominate the world through manipulating health studies to encourage the sale of hoodia, and frozen meal entrees.
Douchehound: An intellectual term that Kate Harding uses to describe those who she particularly disagrees with.
Exercise: Strenuous physical activity, often engaged in by fat acceptance types, for example: playing with Cats. However, exercise has not been shown to result in weight loss. In fact many Fat Acceptance adherents exercised 2 hours a day with no results while eating nothing but lettuce, and found that no weight loss occurred.
Fashion Industry: A conspiratorial organization that is hell bent on forcing women of size to wear frumpy clothing, and to promote anorexia by utilizing uber-skinny models.
Fat and Fit: A scientific fact proven by the next to last place finishes by “fat girl on a bike” in many competitive triathlons.
Fat Hate Bingo: A method in which valid arguments are answered by shouting “Bingo” in a juvenile fashion.
Genetic Set point: If one eats intuitively (i.e. what ever the heck you want), your body will eventually reach its’ genetic weight set point. Note: sometimes a genetic set point will shift; typically upward do not be alarmed.
Intuitive Eating: Eat whatever the hell you want!
Kate Harding: A feminist prophet who offers obscenities of wisdom to those who willing to ignore science and accept her angry faith.
Lifestyle Change: See Diet. There is no known difference.
Myfatspouse.com: The most evil web site in the entire universe. It is highly inadvisable to link to www.myfatspouse.com.
Obesity Epidemic: An over exaggerated media catch phrase. Simply saying “booga, booga” makes it go away.
Real Women: Overweight women who are sexier than skinnier women. This should be an obvious fact when discussing this subject on a fat acceptance blog. Remember, that all women are real women when discussing the subject with non fat acceptance types.
Second (2nd) Law of Thermodynamics (calories out must equal calories in): Physics is sexist!
Straw Men: A valid argument against fat acceptance.
Troll: Someone who posts a comment on a fat acceptance blog who does not match the author’s ideology EXACTLY.
I just discovered your blog… all I can say is “awesome”. I’m adding you to my BlogRoll for sure!

You are amazing!
Yes, I just discovered your fab blog today and a blog roll is definitely in order. Fight Fat!

I’ve been skimming at a lot of FA blogs recently, but also want to read the other side of it, so I found your blog. So far, from what I’ve read, acceptance seems a start in trying to do things for oneself (instead of doing things out of shame – that always seems to backfire), setting realistic expectations of what can and cannot be done and that any real weight loss takes a lot of time. But the first thing that struck me in your blog is the banner you use. Those bodies? Lovely idealized hardbodies, yes, but even among the very fit and young among my friends, no one looks anywhere near those bodies. If you are trying to be a voice of reason, the banner sends a conflicting message, at least to me.
Your right changing the banner is on my To Do list
Thank you for your answer
I noticed you friended me over LJ. I was worried seeing it there. Now, I’m not. Take care!
Hilarious and very true. It’s sad that FA has become a trend in itself. I’m glad you are fighting it with truth and honesty.
As a colleague of mine is so fond of saying:
“Step away from the donut!”
is this a joke? fatties are disgusting
I ran across this site on a strange tangent from the “BMI Project” of Shapely Prose. It’s an interesting idea, as is yours. I really appreciate the idealogical aspects of SP, mostly not hating oneself for any reason; however, I’m refreshed to see a dissenting view. I think any issue needs this treatment.
My reason for commenting is that I’d like to see more from this site than just refuting the statements of the FA blogs. Some original ideas, more pointing to research (the genetics bit was interesting!), and maybe this is going out on a limb – an advice column of your own? I know I’d personally write in for your take on a couple of things.
I’m very much in the middle on the whole thing. Like I said, I’m all about people not hating on themselves yet a healthier, happier world is great, too. I’m also not overweight, nor am I underweight. Just someone who has been on both sides of that spectrum trying to make sense of it all.
you forgot to mention that diets are also the only known way of ensuring weight gain.
I just discovered this blog too. Brilliant! FA, and Kate Harding’s blog in particular, are so delusional it’s frightening. Good to see someone trying to combat their insanity.
Forgive me if I’m suffering some sort of confusion, but the second law of thermodynamics refers to entropy increase; it’s the first law that dictates energy conservation.
Otherwise a very nice blog here, those FA types are really quite alarming in their delusion.
I agreed with you
Hilarious!
[...] results in an IMMEDIATE thrashing! This eventually ends with the commenter being labeled as a “Troll”, and extradited from the Kate Harding’s presence. Of course it is her blog, and it is as [...]
Bigger Fatter Blog doesn’t censor. I know that some of you are fat haters. Some of you are misunderstanding true fat acceptance because of psychos like Hate Karding. I can accept the fact that many of you will disagree with me but we can disagree respectfully.
We actually agree with what some of you are saying. Fat acceptance today is a dishonest movement. The llons took over NAAFA in the late 80’s and fat acceptance now has become a movement of the radical fringe.
